QApilot's journey to London Tech Week and the EuroSTAR 2025 conference wasn’t just about attending another series of sessions, it was about immersing ourselves in the heart of the global technology community and understanding where the industry is heading. Both events offered a microcosm of the world’s most vibrant tech ecosystems, where innovations are being shaped, tested and shared at an unprecedented scale.
At London Tech Week we joined more than forty thousand innovators, investors and enterprise leaders who gathered to showcase and explore technologies that are pushing the boundaries of what is possible. The scale and diversity of this festival were evident. There were more than seventy events spread across London and hundreds of speakers and exhibitors representing every corner of the technology landscape. Conversations on the floor covered everything from artificial intelligence and climate tech to digital infrastructure and ethical innovation. What struck us most was the spirit of collaboration. Startup founders openly discussed their journeys with investors and industry veterans, while corporate leaders shared how they are embracing emerging technologies to solve real world challenges. Being part of these exchanges reinforced our belief that innovation thrives when ideas are shared without borders.

The EuroSTAR 2025 conference provided another rich layer of insights. As Europe’s largest gathering of software testers, it brought together testers, QA engineers and managers from around the world to exchange knowledge and push the boundaries of quality engineering. The theme for 2025 was “AI on Trial” and the programme highlighted both the promise and the scrutiny that artificial intelligence now faces in testing practices. Many of the discussions we took part in revolved around how AI can augment human testers rather than replace them, and how context and ethics must guide its adoption. The conference also emphasised community – for more than thirty years EuroSTAR has been a space where practitioners come together to share techniques, tools and strategies. This environment allowed us to compare notes with peers from different industries and cultures and to gain a fresh perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing testers today.

Across both events, one theme repeatedly surfaced: the importance of building technology ecosystems that are inclusive, ethical and global. Whether talking to a fintech founder in London or a test automation engineer in Edinburgh, the questions were similar: how do we harness AI responsibly, how do we create sustainable digital products, and how do we ensure that the benefits of technology reach everyone? This alignment of values was encouraging, especially as we represent the growing tech ecosystem in India. We spoke with participants who were curious about India’s digital progress and eager to explore collaboration. We also learned about initiatives aimed at bridging geographic divides by supporting remote work, cross-border partnerships and knowledge sharing.
Our experience at London Tech Week and EuroSTAR wasn’t just about learning; it was about forming connections and bringing back inspiration. The conversations we had have given us new ideas for how QApilot can continue to champion autonomous and context-aware testing. We were reminded that the future of technology is not shaped by one region alone, but by a network of communities that span continents. As we return home, we carry with us a renewed commitment to contribute to this global conversation and to ensure that the insights gained in London and Edinburgh translate into innovative and responsible solutions for the Indian and international QA community.
